So, what is the Fell Pass like? It's a cross between Undermountain and Tomb of Horrors, an underground gauntlet designed not just by throwing crazy monster encounters, but also some clever traps and scenarios meant to surprise even hardened players. A good DM can make any of the encounters manageable for lower levels, by simply making enemies more likely to bargain instead of straight up murder your party. I did not even try to standardize this, though I put in a handy chart that I think summarizes my thoughts on levels per floor. The difficulty level can swing widely from encounter to encounter sometimes you meet something a low-level party can easily handle, the next your confronted by something a level 13 party will struggle against. Only a couple of monsters are switched out, the original characters are cleaned up, and the traps explained a little bit better. I also did my very best to preserve most of the adventure in its original form 95% of it is probably exactly the same.

Hi all! So I had some off-time at work, and decided I'd start converting very old D&D adventures from the Dragon Magazine to 5th edition.
